Yesterday Eventure attended the Bootstrap Awards in Ottawa. A business plan written by Nervy Girl for the Smiths Falls Community Theatre/Station Theatre led to a nomination for Best Social Enterprise. We were elated to be a finalist and received an honourable mention. Congratulations to the winner, the Ottawa Humane Society! Thanks to Dr. Bruce Firestone, founder of exploriem.org, and of course founder of the Ottawa Senators and the Senators Foundation. What a great event.
